Dr. Zoe Lucock
Dr. Lucock is board-certified behavior analyst- doctoral level who completed her PhD at Bangor University looking at behavior-analytic assessments with older adults with dementia. She is passionate about bringing high quality behavioral support to the older adult community and has recently launched Positive Aging Consultancy & Training – the UK’s first BCBA-led behavioral gerontology service provision.
Dr Lucock’s areas of interest are engagement in older adults, managing behavioral issues of older adults with dementia, dementia in older adults with intellectual disabilities, and evidence-based carer training to increase quality of life in older adults in long term care settings. Her research has been published in Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavior Analysis in Practice and Behavioral Interventions. Dr Lucock is keen to disseminate behavioral gerontology to the wider ABA community through high quality supervision and online CE courses.
